Given the premise, we're necessarily going to see some OCs - the show might just about get away with turning everypony into teachers, but for a trial this important to be anything more than a kangaroo court professional lawyers and neutral jurors are essential. I might be able to use some more obscure canon characters for the latter, but we don't know anypony who fits the former - or do we?

Once in a while I'll be struck with an interesting idea for a story that it just won't leave me. Worse, it'll be one I can't find on FiM and it begins to demand I write it into existence.
Here's the one that's plaguing me:
Well. I've thought about this for a while, and have decided that this is how I'll handle Barricade and Blueblood from now on.
For stories where I've already established my OC Captain Barricade as Fluttershy's mother, those shall be considered alternate universe stories.
However, I like Barricade a lot. So she will be featured in future stories that have Fluttershy's canon mother. Only in those stories, Barricade will be Fluttershy's aunt.
As for Blueblood...
Interesting, IDW comics FF: They don't apologize for Blue Blood's flaws, and Celestia is fully aware of them when she gives SA Blue Blood as a replacement for Cadence on a important trade agreement to the Yaks. (they could have made Cadence look pregnant at least). Since something happens that needs all four Alicorn's attention.
Hello again. I have a new story out and it's called Trixie and Prince Charming and this story is canon to the Lunaverse. It about Princess Luna setting Trixie on a play date with Prince Blueblood. It goes about as well as you might suspect. No real origin to this story idea, I just thought it would be fun to write a story about filly Trixie and the idea of a play date with Blueblood randomly came out from there. It was a lot of fun to write and awoke a lot of childhood feelings I'd almost
I will post at least one chapter per week, sometimes a set of related chapters when I feel that's necessary. I am not committing to a day, but will post randomly in order to catch readers who show up only on specific days. When I have enough chapters posted, I will notify Equestria Daily that I have a sequel posted to a Fanfiction story post, which will hopefully increase the readership.

I typed up the notes for this the better part of a year ago, but never produced even the introductory chapter.
OK, thought I'd give a few updates. I had intended to blog updates weekly, but by pure magic, I've managed to get this done two days early! No, seriously, that really is today's date! Look it up! Anyways, on to what I've been doing.
It's ready! If you're interested in badass ponies, cad-to-antihero Blueblood character arcs, a major role for the tragically underused Raven Inkwell, and Tempest being especially badass, plz give it a read.
